Charity partners

To help raise funds for very worthwhile causes, PickPocket Foragers is delighted to partner with the following organisations and charities that are close to our heart and that share our love of nose work enrichment for dogs.

BRAVEHOUND is a charity that supports military veterans who have been diagnosed with mental health conditions such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. We provide suitable dogs and offer on-going training and welfare support throughout each BRAVEHOUND dog's lifetime.

BRAVEHOUND dogs give round the clock companionship, a structure and purpose to each day and, for isolated veterans particularly through this Covid outbreak, have literally been a lifeline. The welfare of each BRAVEHOUND dog is at the heart of all that we do - no partnership can be successful unless our dogs are well cared for and loved.

We are delighted to be supported by PickPocket Foragers, as canine enrichment is so important to the welfare of our dogs.

PickPocket Foragers is proud to support BRAVEHOUND. If you would like to find out more about their work, please visit BRAVEHOUND. Registered charity in Scotland SC043908

CAM4animals promotes the appropriate use of Complementary and Alternative Medicines and treatments as part of a fully integrated veterinary healthcare system. We aim to provide animal owners, along with veterinary and other animal health professionals, with balanced information about Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) in order to do the best we can for the health and wellbeing of our animals.

PickPocket Foragers is proud to support CAM4animals. If you would like to find out more about their work, please visit CAM4animals.

Canine Health Concern was formed in 1994 by Catherine O'Driscoll, after two of her beautiful young Golden Retrievers - Oliver and Prudence - tragically died.  She asked, 'why?', and the answers that came back were sufficiently disturbing to make her feel that independent research was necessary - free from commercial bias.  Catherine was sent scientific papers which told her that commercial pet food was nutritionally inadequate, and that many deficiency diseases are the direct result of poor feeding.  She also learnt that the annual shots we give to our pets each year, in the belief that we are protecting them from disease, are actually the largest cause of ill health in our pets today.
